What is Keitai Archive?

Keitai Archive is a grassroots effort to preserve games and media made for Japanese feature phones (pre‑Android phones). The Keitai Archive consists of games that are no longer commercially available, as well as other forms of keitai media (wallpapers, ringtones, interface customizations) that are inaccessible on modern smartphones.

Keitai World Launcher triggered my anti‑virus software! Is it safe?

The multiple emulators in Keitai World Launcher require select registry changes, DPI‑aware adjustments, and other settings that will trigger some anti‑virus software. These adjustments are required for the emulators to work, and they will not harm your computer. If you are concerned and want to verify that the software is safe, you can check the source code or run the software in a Windows virtual machine.

I’m having issues running applications with Keitai World Launcher

If a game is not in Keitai World Launcher, we either do not have it (most common) or cannot distribute it. To see a list of preserved games, check out our Search.

Do you have Atlus games?

No. Atlus is currently re-releasing their mobile games through G‑MODE, and we encourage you to purchase those games here.

Do you have non-Japanese mobile games?

No. If you'd like to discuss Western feature phone game preservation, we recommend joining the Kahvibreak Discord server.
